Hello,
Zoey wakes up happy and smiling every morning. She is much better about my putting her down too. She does not cry when we put her on the changing table now. I think that might of been because of her bad infection it hurt. It is sooo much better. She hates the bath, cried through the whole thing today. I don't know why she would not like it. I
put her in the walker in the playroom and she took off. They put her in that in the orphanage so she really liked it. I brought it into mommy and daddies room they have a very big room and she zoomed around.

Today we went to the embroidery institute it was amazing to see all of the woman working on a piece and they were all pointing at Zoey so mommy says turn her around they want to see her face (she was in the baby carrier on my hip) I turn her around and they wanted to see her little cable knit cardigan sweater from Costco. It was too funny. A few people
have asked me if she is Chinese or a foreigner. They think she is mine biologically. The Orphanage Director said she looks like me same coloring. Everyone is interested in her. Their are a lot of pretty babies here but I must say that she is unique she has a different face. When you see her you will understand.  We shall see what Dr. Aronson says when we get home. I give her baby massages and we all agree that her hair has grown since we have been here.

The embroidery institute was disappointing in the fact that there was nothing to buy really or they were outrageously expensive. ShaSha took us to another little shop that sold embroidery but they did not have what I was looking for. So I ended up with nothing. I was looking forward to getting table cloths and doilies and scarves and handkerchiefs. Now a lot of people don't have gifts!!! (lol)

I came back to the hotel and I was a little sick. Zoey and I slept all afternoon.( I was using this hot water I thought was boiled and I think it made me sick so back to bottled water) Daddy bought us 6 bottles each after that. Our room is so hot the ac does not work and Jojo is trying to tell them that it does not work and he wants it colder. and they just
keep saying one  moment please and disappearing and then not doing anything about it b/c they don't understand. So today he opened the refrigerator door and sticks his head in and says he wants his room like the refrigerator. I was hysterical laughing, I was crying it was so funny, It didn't work the room is still hot but we got a good laugh. Jojo communicates by acting everything out it is very funny. We tried this new restaurant in the hotel tonight seafood for daddy they have tons of fish tanks and you get private rooms. Well the waitress do not speak any English and everything we pointed to on the menu they said they don't have. And Jojo was trying to act things out it was hysterical. Mommy and me were crying we were laughing so hard. Daddy then asks to
see the specials. I guess we were all slap happy, it took no exaggeration about 45 minutes to order and 5 dishes came out 2 that we did not order and we all left hungry. The best thing I packed on this trip were the 30 granola bars I would be crying if I did not have those to eat you know how I get when my sugar level drops.  I have definitely lost weight,
which is a good thing.  I have been giving Zoey scrambled egg. She wants to eat so much I have to cut her off I don't want her to get sick.  She is just too cute!!!!and soooo happy. They have the cutest baby hats in china and I bought her a few and she looks so cute in them. I will have
to put up a hat rack next to my collection for her collection now. Tomorrow we are going to cloud mountain, then Monday we have some more paperwork and Tuesday we leave for Guangzhou!!! I cannot wait to get home and have everyone meet my beautiful baby!!! Aunt George I brought
that little pink mushy doll you got her and she plays with it. She likes constant input she is a live wiggle worm busy busy she does not sit still I now understand the beauty of naps. The first 2 days I kept saying ma, do you think she naps too much? Ha! Well that's it for now.
Missing and thinking of everyone.
love,
Lisa
