My long anticipated Baby Shower was SPECTACULAR!  It was a day full of sunshine and not only due to the lovely weather we had. The backyard looked beautiful with the new dock my talented Dad built. The centerpieces were just too cute, my Mom had been collecting stuffed animals for a year. It was my Moms hard work, imagination and attention to detail that made such a lovely party. The Chinese theme was apparent throughout the party, the Chinese fans on the table for those of you who got too hot, the Chinese music, the surprise Lion Dancers, what fun. The delicious food, the games and prizes, Aunt Helen’s butterflies direct from China and the Chinese power bead bracelets that I hope everyone received in the mail. I also hope that everyone was able to come away from the day knowing a little more about China and the culture and traditions.

I would like to thank everyone for their incredible generosity, I still cannot believe all the fabulous gifts.  Zoey will be wanting for nothing. Thanks to Joe for documenting the day so Zoey and I can revisit again and again, and to Jessie for just going with the flow.

A very special thanks to my Mom and Dad who have been extremely loving, giving and supportive, and who once again have been able to make a long awaited dream of mine come true. What a lucky woman I am and what a lucky child Zoey will be.  

The love, warmth and support I have received from everyone is overwhelming. Thank you ALL for making my shower such a memorable day.
