Monthly Updates of My Journey to Zoey |

PRE ADOPTION |
During the Adoption process and the very long wait I started writing updates,
which eventually evolved into monthly updates, of my status. My friends and family
were very interested in my journey to Zoey. I began to send out group e-mails for
every milestone I accomplished and for everyone to get a better understanding of how
the adoption process works. I then started a countdown when I went DTC (Dossier to
China), hence the monthly updates. When word got out about the updates the list of
people wanting to be apprized of my progress grew. It now has once again evolved as
a way for me to document this wonderful experience for Zoey to one day read. The
response I have received has been very heartwarming and extremely encouraging and I
could not have remained somewhat sane throughout this long arduous process without
